Writing Diaries

Hello, we meet again!

So, my lecturer from writing class asked the entire class's members to write our own diary. It's not really a problem for me, I believe. But, for what I recall about writing diaries, that the last time I wrote them is when I was still in my junior high school years. It's almost about 3 years now. I don't really remember what I wrote on those days.

An old diary written by someone.

Okay, back to our main topic. I'm going to show you how's my diary look like, or I could say it: a journal. Well, "writing diary" sounds so girly, lovely and sweet, something that is kind of not suitable for me. I prefer calling it as a journal, since I could also write down my schedules and thoughts in it.

My dearest journal,

Today is a great day. I woke up right before the alarm is ringing, managed to do some chores, have a breakfast, take a bath, and I did those things without having to be rushed over time. Something that must be proud of since I always want to procrastinate almost over anything.

I went to my campus this morning, a little bit rushed and have a slight worry in my mind even though the class still has around 30 minutes to start. Today I will attend up to three classes and I suppose I’m gonna be home around 3 p.m. I came to the building where the class's belong and thought I'm already late. Well, it's actually nonsense since I only need about 10-15 minutes to go from my place.

The class is still empty, it's not as usual as before because I knew my classmates are really discipline about going to every class in time. I took a seat; I always chose the one near the air conditioner. I always take a walk from my place, and it's a lie if it's not tiring. It seems like my feet already have some varicose veins on it, lol.

I waited until it's already passing the time where we're supposed to be gathered in the class. Some of my classmates finally arrived. They're also in a hurry, but then get confused shortly in time. This is strange. We knew what we must do next: checking our social media class's group.

Oh, God. Just as expected, the class is canceled due to the lecturer have something important things to do. I can’t say that I’m neither happy nor sad. It was a mixed feeling. I came to the canceled class without knowing anything because I didn’t check some news from my friends and certainly I can’t blame anyone, it’s my own fault for being an ignorant. But, well, it’s funny. I should learn from this. I will be more careful and I hope in the future something like this will never happen again.

Smiles,

Dea

P.S: We still have about two hours remaining for the next classes, my friends and I get a little bit bored and decided to take some selfies, something I’m not really into.
